Chew Valley School News
A Performing Arts College
The school became a Specialist School in the Performing Arts in 2003. Since that time growing numbers of young people have been discovering the value of the arts in their lives. Productions are put on each term, there is an annual dance festival and concerts, cabarets and musical extravaganzas illuminate the school year.
Peripatetic Music Lessons
There are two hundred and fifty pupils currently registered for peripatetic music lessons in the school. We believe that the creative and performing arts make a unique contribution to the education of young people. For more information on how your child can get involved in peripatetic lessons please email suzanne.gaved@chewvalleyschool.co.uk
Deadline for payment for the ten week peripatetic music lessons for Term 3 & 4 is Friday the 20th November 2009. Existing students will have a letter sent home in Term 2. For those of you who aren't learning an instrument but would like to, please click here to print off a form or see Suzanne in the Performing Arts Office.
